29 Months

We were at Joanne Fabrics a few weeks ago. We bought a book to make cake lollipops. Such creative ideas in the book - making animals and stuff for every holiday. Cameron got really excited and all he could talk about was making lollipops. I must say our first attempt was pretty good!



While we were shopping we had a little fun too...if we had bought it Cameron would have been ready for the beach.



We went to a tea party for a play date (poor Cameron was the only boy at this play date). We had to dress him up like a Prince. He thought it was pretty cool (wouldn't leave the house without it on the next day). Crashed hard in the car after the party. Playing with all those girls is exhausting.



He's my little computer geek already! He is addicted to his little computer. Recently got hooked on a "find the cheese" maze game. Took a little while to figure out...now we can't get his nose out of it. He gets in such a zone.

We went over to Target recently and he fell asleep on the way...so we let him sleep in the cart. He always has his hand behind his head like this. Funny thing was we had our ultrasound yesterday and the baby had her hands behind her head in the same position. They are definitely related!!

He is completely into babies right now (we hope it sticks). Whenever we see a baby out in public he gets all excited and begs for us to follow them around the store saying "get the baby...let's take it home". Poor mother thinks we are trying to kidnap her baby! He also always asks to take our friends baby home. Let's hope this sticks.

We tried to explain to him tonight that he's going to be a big brother. We were explaining that mommy had a baby in her belly and it was growing. He asked to see and tried looking in my belly button only to say "I don't see it". Then he took his hands and pushed around to feel for it. A little while later he put his head on my belly and said "hi baby". Now he just keeps talking about mommyhaving a baby in her belly.

Cameron has a new favorite saying...first you have to picture watching Joey on Friends. He says "how you doin' baby?". It's so funny. I keep telling him he shouldn't be saying that to his mother.

Cameron IS Mr. Potato Head.

We took Cameron to Discovery Park in Aliante. He loves it there...especially swinging. Playing catch and trying to chase bubbles really tired him out as well. The wind was blowing and some of the bubbles flew quite far...he would run after them until they all popped, turn around and scream "I got them", and come running back.

Bra shopping has never been so much fun. For the last year, this is something Cameron does every time you walk by the bra section of a store. I know I have mentioned it before on here, but until now I have never had the camera with me to capture it. I tried to get David to do a seperate video of him running through Kohl's toward the bra section screaming "boobs", but that didn't happen.

Cameron's latest thing is asking you if you want something...then suggesting the answer he wants. For example, "do you want to color mom? Yes or no....yes?". I couldn't get the entire statement, but I got the last part of it.

Big Catch Up!

Ok, I've gotten really bad about updating the blog these last few months. We've even been bad about having the camera out. I don't know why because he is constantly doing something that we wish we had on video. Let's see if we can catch up since Christmas...


Potty Training (Again) - We took the entire week after Christmas to potty train again. We bought a little duck potty that sings when he goes...he isn't a fan of the singing. To keep on a schedule we were setting our kitchen timer. When it goes off he still says "time to go potty". The first 3-4 days were really rough!! We kept talking ourselves out of giving up. We did stick with it though and it is paying off. We are officially in pull ups all day and sitting on his little potty. He still won't really tell us when he has to go yet, but as long as we stay on him he does good. Still not 100% yet, but we're hoping to get there before the baby comes.


It snowed in Las Vegas on 1/3. We took this picture at about 11 PM when it started. Cameron was already in bed so he missed it. At our house we have to use play dough to build snowmen.





Superbowl - The day before Cameron was wearing his Steelers shirt. I kept telling him that while I was gone (I was flying to Orlando for work) he needed to cheer for the Steelers. He was pumping his fist in the air saying "Steelers" over and over. Well, David had money on the Packers so when Cameron looked at him he would say no and have him start cheering for the Packers. It turned into a game. This video is just a little bit of it...not as funny as when he was first doing it. He will still randomly start cheering for one team or the other.

Loves the Apple Ipad commercial. There is something about this song that grabs his attention and he starts dancing. It's hysterical.



Damnit - This is Cameron's favorite new word, and believe me he knows how to use it properly. Every time he said it we would say "it's not nice to say that...we say Darn". He will still slip up sometimes. Or the funniest part is when he catches one of us saying it. He will say "Daddy said damnit. We don't say that...it's not nice. Say Darn." Then we (or he) disciplines Daddy and feels better.

Cameron recently figured out how to make this sound. He thinks he's so funny when he does it.



NFL Training Camp - David got this for Christmas. Cameron calls it "playing football" and likes to try the exercises right beside him...even gets in the way a bit. He really tries to mimic everything and it's quite comical at times.

Christmas 2010!

Santa came to the Graham house this year. Cameron was up so late the night before because we were at friends for dinner. He ended up sleeping later than we did, which was a first! I had to go in and wake him up. He jumped right out of bed when I told him Santa came.



We had to check out the table because Santa ate his cookies and drank his milk!




Then we went to check out the presents Santa left.





This was the first time Cameron was actually interested in opening presents. We did a webcam with Grandma & Grandpa Graham and Uncle Adam. Then after that did another webcam with Grandma Beth, Aunt Lynn, Olivia & Ava. Everyone wanted to see Cameron open presents. It ended up being all morning for us to get through everything so we were starving by the time we were able to break and eat...it was lunch time!

Opening presents - He was the neatest present opener ever. Kept handing me each little piece of wrapping paper he ripped off and had to clean it all up before he could move on to the next one.

Both Grandma & Grandpa Graham and Grandma Beth bought him recordable books. He has really gotten a kick out of the fact that it's their voice on the book. The funny part is as each page ends you hear the click from when they hit the stop button to stop recording...he thinks it is them making kissing noises to him so he gets to the end of each page and he makes the sound like he's giving a kiss.



Then we had a game of basketball going on. I think the hoop & ball were a hit. This is our future Maverick. Thanks Santa.

Our big news...

Cameron doesn't really understand yet, but he's going to be a big brother. I don't think he will really get it until we bring a baby home and it never leaves. We surprised the family with this news by sending these pictures home to everyone so they could open an envelope with it on Christmas Eve. I think it was a hit...

Christmas card photos...

We had a big photo session to try and get some cute shots for our Christmas cards. Here are the better ones we got. He's such a ham.

After the photo session, I got a nice big sticky candy cane kiss. He was so funny because he handed the camera to David to take a picture. Then came over to me and grabbed my cheeks and gave me a big kiss. He kept doing it over and over and making sure David took every shot. He thought he was so funny. Then Daddy got to tickle him...he still loves the torture of being tickled until he laughs hysterically. When we stop he says "more dad".

Getting Ready for Christmas

I think Cameron was missing Brian Head. He put on his boots and said "I go sledding". I told him there was no snow, but he proceeded to go get the sleds and sit in them with reindeer.



Nap time with mom...and on a storage tote.



We had to bake cookies for Santa. Cameron had fun...especially at the end licking the icing off a cookie. After he cleaned the cookie off he wanted to put it back on the tray to get another.

He put all of his stuffed animals in timeout. This is the same corner he has to sit in. We laughed at the one video where he's throwing his arms up in the air. I told David I don't do that so he must look like that when he disciplines.

Lots of singing...5 little monkeys jumping on the bed. Still a little performer.

David bought one of those annoying animals that sings & dances. This one was a horse that sings some ghetto sounding Christmas music. Cameron likes to turn it on and sing with it while running or dancing around, "jingle, jangle, holiday rock".
