On the Move...

Shortly after the last post, Cameron figured out how to continuously crawl without flopping on his belly. This house will never be the same!! Obviously he's into everything! We now have the baby gate up at the top of the stairs and will begin the process of baby proofing.

He absolutely loves following the dog & cat...which means he is coming in really close contact with Max for the first time. We've been impressed with how well she's handling it. Still makes us a little nervous though.

Kitty Torture & Semi-Crawling

New Tricks

While Cameron was in Texas he learned some new tricks...he no longer likes to wear a bib and will take it off the second you turn your back (or while you're watching). He has also learned how to pull a shirt off over his head, which makes it a little harder to get the clothes on him in the first place. Much easier when you're changing him for bed because he helps.

He is now a wiz in the walker! Maneuvers around chairs and the island in the kitchen...it's become a nightly routine to run laps around the kitchen and giggle.

Still no crawling...but he's so close!! He's really gotten his balance and is getting from a sitting position up onto his knees and back down. You can see him concentrating so hard as he tries to move to get something. He usually just ends up getting up on his knees, stretching out, then flopping on his belly...scootching just a little bit closer to what he's trying to get. Lots of moving around though...

This last video is just for fun...he LOVES to laugh. It was taken the night they got home from Texas. He was giggling so hard he fell over. He's so much fun.

Texas Trip

Dad and I flew down to Texas to see Grandma Donna, Grandpa Malcolm, Uncle Adam & Great Grandma Betty. I wasn't so nice to dad on the plane, mostly because I didn't get much sleep the night before (I was so excited)...Dad threatened to leave me in Texas. I surprised him though and was a perfect angel on the way home. Mom thinks I came back even cuter than when I left.

This is where I get my crazy from...



The first weekend I was there, we got to go camping at Lake Texoma. We had a lot of fun! We rented a boat (that Dad, Grandpa & Uncle Adam tried to sink), went swimming, saw the ducks, and got to sleep in a tent. I really wasn't too fond of the life jacket they made me wear though. The only thing I could move were my eyes!! Even when I fell asleep I was stiff as a board.



Mom thinks this is the saddest picture & video she's ever seen...then dad finally rescued me!




It was SO hot!! And camping really wore me out.







After our camping trip we went to meet Great Grandma Betty! Look how happy I am. We got to take some family photos with everyone.




Then we went for my first trip to the zoo.



Uncle Adam did a pretty good job of taking some pictures that made it look like I was really interested in the animals. I wasn't though...the fences and grass were far more entertaining!

Why is Texas SO HOT?!

Grandma Donna gave me my first bath in the kitchen sink. It was so much fun!!

I got to eat lots of goodies too...brownie batter & my own dinosour cake.

They also bought me my own Johnny Jump Up! I had a blast.
