Rollin, Rollin, Rollin

This week Cameron perfected the art of rolling over entirely on his own...and took his first tumble off the couch. Now we can't keep him on his back. As soon as he gets on his belly his little legs start going and his arms are going. Right now the only thing he accomplishes is spinning in a circle. However, it doesn't look like it will be long before he figures out how to crawl. We were actually able to get his first solo roll entirely on video...so I'm adding it here. Plus a couple of other cute videos.

Always a wild hairdo...and blankets in my face...or something in my mouth.

This was the first time I rolled over without any help...or assistance from an incline. It was a LONG process and took 3 consecutive videos to get it all, but eventually I figured it out. Now I don't stop rolling.

Here I'm supposed to be laying down for a nap, but I just don't want to fall asleep...so I try rolling over...and then stop mid way.

Then just a couple of me being silly.

A little ham!

We have finally reached the point where he no longer freezes and bankly stares at the camera. We can get videos without having to have to hide the camera or take side shots.

Quite the sleeper & puker!

So I realized in the last post I forgot to mention that Cameron now recognizes his name. That started a few weeks ago. Plus, we are finding ourselves needing to move up to the 6-9 month sizes a couple of weeks early because his legs have gotten too long for the 3-6 month. He looks like he's always wearing floods. His dad actually put a pair of overalls on him the other day and just left them all unsnapped because he was too long for them...looked like a dress. Poor baby! Otherwise, not a lot of new updates.

Always sleeping with something on his face. He loves to rub blankets on his face when he's tired.




Here he was helping mom do laundry. The first picture he was in a basket of his own dirty clothes. He was having so much fun. Worked out perfectly when he puked all over himself as soon as this picture was taken. Made it really easy to toss his pjs in the washer and carry him back upstairs in the clean basket of towels. Little chubby boy...hard to believe these pictures were taken within 5 minutes of each other. He looks so tiny in the first one...and so chubby in the second.

I'm such a restless sleeper!! This is how I put myself to sleep everytime...sometimes it's more violent thrashing back and forth. I was just really tired in this video. It's no wonder I have a huge bald spot on the back of my head.

22 Weeks Old

Cameron just gets cuter by the day. Constantly laughing. He's really starting to develop a little personality. He loves giving hugs & kisses. Right now he is facinated by his feet...constantly kicking/hitting. He's developing his hand eye coordination. It's funny to watch him grab for his bottle and try to get it to go into his mouth. I think we're getting close to him holding it on his own though (YEAH!). I'm afraid we're also getting close to teething time. He can't stop slobbering and chewing on everything. More Videos

Over the last couple of days we've had some new developments. Cameron has finally rolled over. It was with a lot of coaxing though...and he hasn't really decided whether he likes to do it or not. Then we realized he is finally big enough to touch the floor when he's in his jumperoo...so the Scrabble box he used to stand on has been retired. Now he finally likes his swing!! He is big enough to reach the toys on it and is more content sitting in it...looks like we'll get some use out of it before he gets too big after all.

He's so much fun these days that we can't stop taking videos of his shrieks and giggles. They are too cute...so here are a couple more.

Funny Videos

Every day it seems Cameron is doing something new. He just recently started discovering his feet...but won't pull his hands out of his mouth long enough to really check them out just yet. David said the other day he started pulling his knees up under him during tummy time. Hasn't quite figured out how to push his arms up yet. David thinks he's going to learn to crawl before he masters sitting up or rolling over on his own. The other funny thing he has started doing...he has started doing this high pitched shriek when he gets excited. We haven't gotten that on video yet...but did get a few others that were funny.

Cameron jumping...and stopping on command. It's a fun game.

He loves giving mom kisses...and I don't mind the slobbery cheeks.
